Step 1 Information Gathering
(2-4 weeks)
- Prospective Franchisee receives brochure and franchise information packet
- Prospective Franchisee completes personal, financial and application checklist
- Franchisee/Franchisor conduct due diligence in information gathering of one another
Step 2 Preliminary Interviews
(2 weeks)
- Review by franchisor of materials and forms
- Send UFOC and receive signed copy back
- If franchise meets all criteria a person-to-person or phone interview will take place
Step 3 Interview /Approval Process
(2-4 weeks)
- Prospective franchisee meets with company department heads and executive staff to discuss programs
- Prospective franchisee discusses terms and area with Franchise Sales Representatives
- Development Agreement is signed and franchise fee is paid
Step 4 Site Acceptance Process
(4-6weeks)
- Franchisee submits Site Acceptance Form
- Reno’s Roadhouse, Inc. representative visits and inspects prospective site
- Reno’s Roadhouse accepts/declines site submitted
Step 5 Construction Process
(8-16 weeks)
- A Reno’s Roadhouse representative will coordinate with the franchisee’s architect and general contractor to develop remodel plans for conversion
- Target Opening date is determined at beginning of construction (Punch list must be completed no later than one week prior to anticipated opening date)
- A Reno’s Roadhouse, Inc. representative will visit the site during the construction process to inspect and provide a final punch list to be completed by the franchisee
Step 6 Training
(4-14 weeks, concurrently with construction)
- Franchise owner, management, and key employees
- Restaurant employees one week prior to opening
